It took me a few minutes to recognize some of my favorite trails and I thought ‘huh, who knew all this green grass was here?’ and ‘whoa, that looks way steeper without snow.’ While the winter is tranquil in its own way, there’s something even more peaceful now. I chalk it up to the people - or lack thereof - and all the wildlife we saw along the way.

There’s nothing better than a mountain wedding. The excitement of the milestone event and celebration of love combined with the tranquility of pine-laced and snow-dusted peaks under a deep only-in-Colorado blue sky is an intoxicating romantic elixir.

The month of May has been a busy one for our operations crews! If you haven't heard, both the American Eagle and American Flyer lifts are being replaced for the 2018-19 winter season. The Eagle will be a combination lift of gondola cabins and 6-person chairs while the Flyer will be a 6-person chair with bubble enclosures. Also, a brand new entry monument is currently being built! Stay tuned for more updates throughout the summer.
