COPPER MOUNTAIN, Colo. — November 29, 2015 — Thanks to the hard work by Copper Mountain operations crews and 62 inches of natural snow on the season so far, the Main Vein Superpipe was able to open at Copper Mountain today, Sunday, Nov. 29. Photos and b-roll of the 22’ Main Vein Superpipe can be found here: Later this season, Woodward Copper will once again offer a 13-foot beginner pipe, now relocating to just off the top of the Union Creek Quad chairlift in Copper’s West Village.

Guests can catch top athletes from around the world in the Main Vein Superpipe from Jack’s Deck located in Copper’s Center Village during daily private training from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Nov. 30 – Dec. 6, 2015. The Main Vein Superpipe is open to the public from 1 - 4 p.m. each day during this time frame with the exception of Dec. 2. The Superpipe will be closed all day Dec. 2 for a USASA Rocky Mountain Series event. The Superpipe will be fully closed to the public Dec. 6 – 11 for the U.S. Revolution Tour and on Dec. 13 for a USASA Rocky Mountain Series event. The Main Vein Superpipe reopens to all guests on Dec. 14.

The Revolution Tour is set to take place in the Main Vein Superpipe Dec. 6 – 11. The U.S. Revolution Tour (Rev Tour) has proven to be a progressive venue for today’s top junior freeskiers and riders to take the competitive stage in multiple disciplines. The competition is designed to serve as a stepping stone for athletes making the transition from competing at the grassroots level to the elite level. The tour is focused towards riders ages 13-19, and top winners often earn invites to the U.S. Grand Prix, Junior Worlds, or USASA Nationals. Copper will host the first stop of the Rev Tour, and will include snowboard and freeski competitions in Copper’s 22-foot Main Vein Superpipe. Find more details at
