Erin is a 2nd year lift operator here at Copper and moved to Colorado for the mountains a few years ago.  She started working for a different resort and switched to Copper because she was looking for a better work environment.  “The people are great” Erin says of both the guests and her co workers here at Copper, “Everyone is so friendly”.

Second from the right, Erin listens to Tine Hauser, the lift operations manager about the plan for the day.  As a second year, Erin is in charge of a crew of new lift operators and is tasked with helping them learn the ropes.

Every morning, the lifts go through a series of checks to ensure that everything is in proper working order.  On this particular morning, Erin teaches one of the other operators about the different checks that need to be done at the bottom terminal of American Eagle lift in Center Village.
