COPPER MOUNTAIN, Colo. – Jan. 12, 2018 –  Copper Mountain’s inaugural Feel Good Fridays program invites guests to save some cash while skiing and riding for two causes on select Fridays throughout the season. In collaboration with POWDR Adventure Lifestyle Co., the High Fives Foundation and local non-profit Adaptive Action Sports, skiers and riders can purchase an $85 lift ticket online with $5 of their purchase going toward both organizations.

“Feel Good Fridays is a way to raise money and awareness for organizations involved in the winter sports community,” said John Monson, director of sales and marketing for Copper Mountain Resort. “This program has been tremendously successful at our sister resorts across the country and we’re thrilled to be able to support High Fives and Adaptive Action Sports this season.”

The first Feel Good Friday takes place on Jan. 26 with three more scheduled for Feb. 23, March 2 and April 13. Participants simply need to visit to purchase their Feel Good Friday lift ticket in advance to receive the discounted rate of $85.

“Working with Copper Mountain allows us to share our mission and vision with people who are passionate about winter sports, ” said Roy Tuscany, founder and executive director of the High Fives Foundation. “After a day of skiing or riding, everyone is invited to a Feel Good Friday happy hour to mingle and learn more about each organization.”

The High Fives Foundation is a Tahoe-based, national 501.c.3 non-profit organization. The High Fives Foundation supports the dreams of outdoor sports athletes by raising injury prevention awareness while providing resources and inspiration to those who suffer life-altering injuries. Formed as a way to pay-it-forward from Tuscany's own recovery, the Foundation has helped 169 athletes from 31 states since its inception in 2009.

Adaptive Action Sports is the first adaptive snowboard and skateboard specific non-profit organization. Adaptive Action Sports creates skateboard, snowboard and other action sport camps, events and programs for youth, young adults and wounded veterans living with permanent physical disabilities, TBI and PTSD.
