July 7 at 2:30 p.m. - Rayland Baxter

On his spectacular new album ‘Wide Awake,’ Rayland Baxter infuses easy, soulful sound with British Invasion melodies and rock and roll swagger, marrying lean, muscular songwriting with adventurous, inventive arrangements. His debut album, ‘feathers & fishhooks,’ was a critical hit praised by Interview for its “well-worn maturity,” while NPR described “Yellow Eyes,” the lead sing from his 2015 follow-up, ‘Imaginary Man,’ as “close to perfect.”

July 13 at 3 p.m. – Mat Kearney

Inspired in part by the birth of his first child in January 2017, Kearney found himself writing CRAZYTALK's lyrics with a new, mature perspective. He'd been a traveling songwriter for more than a decade, releasing three Top 20 albums along the way. The sound he helped introduce with his major-label debut, 2006's Nothing Left to Lose — a record that combined the bright sounds of pop music the with darker, harder-hitting influence of hip-hop — had since become one of the most common genres of the 21st century, with chart-topping artists like Ed Sheeran and Twenty One Pilots all following in his footsteps. His legacy already established, Kearney felt comfortable broadening his songwriting, filling CRAZYTALK with songs that embraced an older, wiser point of view.

July 14 at 3 p.m. – Riley Green

Born in Jacksonville, Alabama, Riley Green was raised on the sounds of traditional Country, Bluegrass, and Southern Gospel music. He learned the spirit of songwriting and performing at a young age while spending time with his grandfather, Bufford Green, who ran the Golden Saw Music Hall. Riley shared the stage with him and other men of his generation, laying a foundation for the songs he’d craft in the years to come, reflecting on the experiences of a young Southern man trying to find his place in the world. His 2018 IN A TRUCK RIGHT NOW EP (BMLG Records) introduced his mixture of outlaw-rebellion and respect for tradition across his self-penned four tracks, including his debut No. 1 hit single “There Was This Girl.” His follow-up single “In Love By Now” is currently ascending at Country radio and is from his forthcoming GET THAT MAN A BEER EP out June 14. Rolling Stone CountryTaste of CountryWhiskey RiffSounds Like Nashville and iHeartRadio among others have all named Riley an “Artist to Watch,” in addition to being selected as a CMT “Listen Up Artist” and one of MusicRow’s 2019 “Next Big Things.”

July 20 – 21 – Courage Classic

Join a community of more than 2,000 cyclists for two days over picturesque Rocky Mountain passes. Through individual and team fundraising, the 30th annual Courage Classic is all about hitting the road to raised money for Children’s Hospital Colorado. In 2018, the event raised a record $3 million to provide lifesaving care and support for patients and families.

July 27-28 - Mac & Cheese festival

Enjoy craft, creative indulgences at the 5th Annual Mac & Cheese festival. Chefs from Copper Mountain restaurants and beyond will deliver samples of their cheesy concoctions throughout the weekend. Sample dishes from 2018 include Roasted Pork and Brie Mac & Cheese with apple, fennel, artichoke and a butter cracker crust; Nawlin’s Style Mac & Cheese with chicken, Andouille, shrimp smoked gouda, creole sauce; as well as Mac & Cheese Wontons over a bed of slaw.
