It’s summer bucket-list-building time. Here are seven incredible ways to experience Copper Mountain this summer.

1

Tee Off

Hit 18 beautiful holes at Copper Creek Golf Course and work on your high-altitude game with the stunning Ten Mile Range as your backdrop. Take in the special scene from signature Hole 13, a par-five framed by breathtaking peaks. Check out this hole-by-hole overview for a sneak peek.

2

Book an REI Adventure

REI and Copper Mountain have teamed up to offer exciting new mountain adventures. Programs include mountain biking, wilderness medicine lessons, group campouts, hikes and more. Hit up the REI Adventure Station in Center Village’s Camp Hale Outfitters where experts are on hand to educate, inspire and get you registered.

3

Spend a Family Day in the Village

A full day might not be enough. The Village plays host to a two-person zip line, nine holes of mini golf, Colorado’s largest outdoor climbing wall, a sweet sky-scraping bungee, the county’s only go kart track and bumper boats.

Make time to whip through the forest on the new 5,800-foot-long Rocky Mountain Coaster. On Saturdays, when the sun begins to set, head to the village campfire to roast s’mores and watch fireworks.

Get in a Food Fight

Tasty competitions rule the event calendar at Copper this summer. In June, it’s all about the Attack of the Big Beers. Sample brews from Colorado and beyond, catch live music and watch brewers compete for the Brewzilla Cup. July means area chefs compete for the title of Best Mac in Summit County at the Mac & Cheese Fest. August ushers in the new Copper Crush wine fest complete with a Candy Bar and Wine Pairing and dance-worthy live music.

Race, Ninja, Compete. Repeat.

New last summer, the Woodward WreckTangle outdoor ninja obstacle challenge brings out the competitive side in all ages. Nine different sections invite you to tackle cargo nets, balance beams and rope swings to test your ninja skills.
