When your meeting is not in session, extracurricular activities are a great team building opportunity but also a way to experience the local area. Copper and Summit County area offer plenty to do when you’re not up to official business. Here are five things you should build into your itinerary:

1) Happy hour on the resort. Check out Ten Mile Tavern for 17 Colorado beers on tap and a sunny patio or try Mahi’s Fish Tacos for a margarita and taco special.

3) Skiing or snowboarding. Because Copper is a ski resort after all. If you get a chance, rent some gear and head up the hill for some fresh air and time on the snow.

4) During the summer months, put your skills to the test inside the Woodward WreckTangle. This ninja-inspired obstacle course is complete with a short zipline, cargo nets and more. Challenge your fellow meeting attendees!
