COPPER MOUNTAIN, Colo. — June 4, 2018 — Zip, climb and bounce your way into summer as Copper Mountain Resort officially reopens on Friday, June 8. The resort invites families and friends from near and far to take advantage with one sweet deal. In honor of opening weekend at Copper, those who spend $15 within the resort will be eligible to receive a free Summer Activity Day Pass valid June 9-10.
“The Copper Activity Day Pass is the ultimate way to experience all things summer at Copper Mountain,” said Holly Robinson, marketing manager for the Copper Mountain Resort Association. “From riding on the new Rocky Mountain Coaster, to tackling the Woodward WreckTangle, plus go-karting, rock climbing, mini golf and lake activities – it truly is a full weekend of fun in the high country.”
For every $15 spent at a restaurant, bar or retail store at Copper Mountain, visitors can redeem their receipt for a free Summer Activity Day Pass at any guest services location. The offer must be redeemed the same day as the purchase and is only valid on June 9 or 10.
In addition to the Summer Activity Day Pass deal, Copper’s Center Village transforms for Colorado Days, a celebration of all things from within state lines featuring local artisans, food, live music and more. Grab the perfect Father’s Day gift of a free family portrait from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. The new REI Adventure Station returns to Copper for the summer and includes unique outdoor education classes for all interests. In June, experience Copper Mountain by night with the new Ales & Astronomy course, or experiment with local spirits and ingredients found in nature as part of the Mountain Mixology summer class. Kids Night Out returns on Friday and Saturday evenings, offering parents three free hours of childcare with a $30 purchase at Copper.

June 17 – Copper Mountain’s inaugural Summer Music Series kicks off with a free concert featuring Blood, Sweat and Tears at 1 p.m.
June 22-24 – Returning this year, the Attack of the Big Beers includes “big beers,” or those brewed with high original gravity. Many other brews from Colorado and beyond will be available for sampling. Brewers will also be competing for the Brewzilla Cup: the award for the biggest, baddest beer of the festival.
June 23-24 – The 2nd annual Copper Mountain Film Festival returns to Copper Mountain on June 23 and 24. Presented by 10 Barrel Brewing Co., film enthusiasts can enjoy two evenings of short and feature films for free. The event features special guest speakers, Q&A’s with the filmmakers, as well as a Screenwriting Contest hosted by the Denver Filmmakers Collective.
June 27-29 – The Fjällräven Classic concept started in northern Sweden in 2005 with a goal to help and inspire more people to get outdoors and reconnect with nature. After many successful years and a growing number of participants, the classic returns to Copper for its second year featuring a 34 mile trek. Not only is it the first Classic to take place outside of Europe, it also brings a new dimension to Classic trekking: altitude.
June 30 – July 1 – Copper’s Summer Music Series continues with free performances from Jefferson Starship at 2 p.m. on June 30 and The Magpie Salute at 1 p.m. on July 1.
